What the record establishes

The task calls for the Read Ley Line racial ability in Thendal Grove. The source description points toward standing stones to the northeast; it supplies no exact coordinates or trigger radius.

Suggested approach

1. Find the correct control

   Locate Read Ley Line and check that your character has the named ability. A similarly named spell or a generic interaction should not be assumed to satisfy a racial-ability objective.

2. Use the landmark clue

   Look for the standing stones described by the source. Orient yourself from the quest instructions and local landmarks rather than treating northeast as a universal direction from wherever you happen to stand.

3. Cast and inspect the tracker

   Use the ability at the ley-line location, then look for quest credit. If credit is absent, adjust your position within the landmark area and compare the active objective before trying again.

Planning notes

Separate navigation from activation: identify the landmark first, then test the ability. This avoids burning attempts while still travelling. It also gives you a clearer report if the current beta no longer matches the published record: you can name the ability, landmark and observed tracker result.
