The right question is not just “which tree?” It is “what do I need this character to do tonight?” Start with your class, choose a purpose, and follow the linked guide for the reasons behind the allocation.

Current beta: 30 levels, 21 talent points

This library contains 27 starting recommendations: leveling, dungeon and PvP for each of nine classes. Every build includes an editable calculator link, selected talent ranks, a validated level-10-to-30 spending order, play priorities and alternatives.

Recommendations use the public 1.60.1.70338 talent snapshot and were reviewed October 13. They are editorial starting choices rather than measured best-in-slot or strongest-build rankings. The dungeon role is written beside each choice so a healer plan is not mistaken for a damage plan.

Choose your class

Read a dungeon recommendation as a role choice

Warrior and Paladin guides start with tanking plans, while Priest, Shaman and Druid start with healing plans. Hunter, Rogue, Mage and Warlock receive damage plans. These are the specific seats covered by the default recommendations; they are not claims that other class roles are unavailable. Each class guide explains when to choose another direction.

Before joining a group, compare the build with the role you agreed to fill, the equipment you own and the spells your character has trained. The dungeon loot library and equipment finder help with the item decision; they do not replace checking the active quest or encounter goals.

Use PvP choices for a defined situation

The PvP recommendations emphasize an intended job such as control, survival, pressure or healing support. They use the level-30 budget and do not assume access to higher-tier talents. Check the guide's tradeoff before copying a tree: choosing a defensive tool may leave out a damage option that was useful while leveling.

Current activity and bracket availability should be checked in game. These pages do not promise a queue, a win rate or a match-tested meta. Compare opponents and group support when assessing a change rather than treating a single result as a ranking.

From guide to your own tree

  1. Open your class guide and read the purpose and tradeoff.
  2. Use “Open talent tree” to load all 21 selected points.
  3. Inspect individual effects, trained abilities and equipment before copying it in game.
  4. Save or share your adjusted calculator link.
  5. After a beta update, reopen the link and check validation messages.

Earlier educational class examples remain available as separate test ideas. The new guides add a purpose-specific recommendation, legal spending path and a concrete reason to change the plan.

What supports these recommendations?

Source records establish talent ranks, effects and prerequisites. They do not establish a universal strongest build. Our recommendations combine those records with stated activity goals, and our checks verify the point budget and every incremental purchase. We have not independently playtested the allocations.
